Curriculum

"Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance."

Proverbs 1:5

Legacy & Leadership Collective is intentionally small and thoughtfully selective—not to limit opportunity, but consciously designed to protect the depth of relationships and to build a meaningful community. We are careful about the families we welcome because we value connection, trust, and long-term belonging.

Our collective embraces a wide range of abilities, goals, and aspirations. We celebrate traditional measures of success alongside deeply personal milestones, recognizing that growth looks different for every child. Whether a student is pursuing an ambitious academic path or achieving greater independence through hard-earned life skills, each step forward is honored and supported. We believe that progress is not measured by comparison, but by growth.

Whether a student is preparing for an ambitious career or achieving a hard-won personal goal—such as independent living skills or driving for the first time—every victory matters here.

This is a place where students and families build relationships designed to last well beyond school, rooted in shared values, mutual support, and a genuine commitment to cheering one another on. Our aim is to cultivate a heart-centered environment where families support one another, cheer each other on, and respect the diverse journeys represented within our community. Our hope is that students remain connected through every stage of life—rooted in shared values, mutual encouragement, and a deep sense of belonging.

Legacy & Leadership Collective is a 100% online Accredited mirco-school.

Students receive personalized learning paths, live video instruction and check-ins, hands-on materials shipped to their homes, and meaningful community engagement. Education is moral & virtuously-rooted, relationship-driven, and focused on whole-child development—building character, confidence, leadership, and real-world skills, not just completing assignments.

Legacy & Leadership Collective distinguishes itself from other online education platforms by inviting parents to co-create an individualized learning path for each of their children.

Each student at Legacy & Leadership Collective receives a personalized learning path designed in partnership with parents. We consider your child’s age, strengths, learning style, interests, pace, and any specific needs when creating their plan. This ensures learning feels supportive, purposeful, and appropriately challenging from the start.

Learning paths are not static. They are regularly reviewed and adjusted based on progress, engagement, and parent feedback. If a child needs more time, additional support, or greater challenge, their plan is adapted accordingly. This flexible, responsive approach allows students to grow with confidence while staying aligned with both developmental needs and family values.

Your child's learning will only include what you approve. Legacy & Leadership Collective offers a highly flexible, personalized curriculum that may include traditional books and paper-based work, hands-on and experiential learning, digital tools, and AI-supported resources—all thoughtfully selected in partnership with parents. Curriculum choices are never one-size-fits-all and are always aligned with family values, student needs, and long-term goals.

Hands-on learning is a core component of our approach with the goal of preparing students for life. Many lessons involve building, creating, experimenting, observing, and applying concepts in real-world ways, with materials provided or shipped directly to families when needed. Technology and AI may be used as supportive tools for research, creativity, and skill development when families approve. For families who prefer limited or no technology, learning plans are designed to prioritize physical materials and experiential methods.

This balanced, respectful approach ensures each child receives an education that is both meaningful and aligned with their home environment.

Yes. Legacy & Leadership Collective is intentionally designed to prepare students for future academic pathways and real life beyond school. Students build strong academic foundations alongside essential life skills such as time management, communication, leadership, critical thinking, and self-direction—skills that support success in high school, college, careers, and independent adulthood.

As an accredited organization, we are able to provide official progress reports, maintain academic records, and create transcripts and diplomas for students pursuing college or other post-secondary opportunities. Older students are guided in developing portfolios, presentations, and independent study habits that align with higher education expectations.

Preparation here is both practical and personal. Students learn how to manage responsibility, adapt to new challenges, and advocate for themselves—ensuring they are not only academically prepared, but confident, capable, and equipped for the next stage of life.

Legacy & Leadership Collective serves students from Pre-K through Grade 12. Our program is designed to grow with students across all stages of development, offering age-appropriate learning while allowing flexibility for individual pace, strengths, and needs. Because learning paths are personalized and include mixed-age opportunities, students are supported both within their developmental stage and through collaborative experiences that encourage leadership, confidence, and growth over time.

Yes. Legacy & Leadership Collective is intentionally designed to support a wide range of learning needs, and tuition includes accommodations and adaptations specific to each child. Personalized learning paths allow instruction to be adjusted for gifted learners, neurodivergent students, and children who are sensitive or require a different pace, structure, or learning style.

Rather than offering one standard approach, we take time to understand how each child processes information, engages with material, and demonstrates growth. This may include modified pacing, alternative methods of instruction, additional guidance, or specialized tools and resources—without additional fees or stigma.

Our model values the child as a whole person. We focus on supporting strengths while compassionately addressing challenges, ensuring students feel capable, respected, and supported. Education here is not about forcing conformity, but about creating the conditions each child needs to grow with confidence and success.

Live video lessons at Legacy & Leadership Collective are designed to provide connection, guidance, and accountability while remaining flexible for each family’s schedule. The exact frequency and format may vary based on a student’s age, learning path, and family needs.

At minimum, the community gathers three times each week:

  • Monday mornings to set intentions, review goals, and start the week with clarity
  • Wednesday for check-ins, guidance, and support
  • Friday gatherings to reflect, share accomplishments, and celebrate progress

In addition to these group sessions, live support and instruction are available Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM for lessons, questions, check-ins, or individualized guidance. This structure provides consistency without rigidity—ensuring students are supported, connected, and encouraged throughout the week while maintaining flexibility for family rhythms.

The core curriculum, lesson structure, and learning expectations are covered by your tuition. Parents are not required to source curriculum. In some cases, common household items or optional enrichment resources may be suggested to enhance learning experiences but these will be supplies when necessary.

Yes. Many lessons include hands-on components, and materials are provided and shipped directly to families as part of the tuition. This allows learning to extend beyond screens and supports deeper engagement through building, experimenting, and creating.
