Enrollment Process Overview

• Sign up for a 30-minute interview with the Founder, Ashley Ace, to ensure alignment and a strong mutual fit. Expectations are made very clear during this call. 
• Complete an in-depth application for review. This may take 1-3 hours to fill out. 

            (You will hear back within 3-5 days)

• Upon acceptance, families are welcomed into the community during the weekly Monday Morning Meeting.
• Complete a guided on-boarding process. This can take up to 2 hours to complete.
• Collaborate one-on-one with Ashley-Ace to design your child’s personalized learning path. This takes a minimum of 3-5 hours in total. You may split this time  over several days to fit your schedule.
• You and your children will participate in a 1 hour orientation presentation before your official learning paths begins.

In total: You can expect to be enrolled and moving forward within 1-3 weeks.

TEFA (Texas Education Freedom Act)  is Prioritizing TIER 1 for 2026.  

Everyone can apply BUT, when the number of eligible applicants exceeds available funding, the program uses priority tiers to decide who gets funded first:

1. Tier 1 — Highest Priority
   • Students with a disability (as defined by Texas law)
   • AND family income at or below 500% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPG)
    
2. Tier 2
   • Students whose family income is at or below 200% of FPG
    
3. Tier 3
   • Students whose family income is between 200% and 500% of FPG
    
4. Tier 4 — Lowest Priority
   • All other eligible applicants (higher-income families);
   • NOTE: Only up to 20% of TEFA funds can go to this group.
    

💡 Siblings: If one child in a family is approved, siblings who apply at the same time are also approved. 

🧠 Disability qualification: The student’s disability must be documented (often by an IEP on file) to receive the additional funding priority and higher award amount (up to $30,000).

If state assistance does not cover the full tuition amount, families are responsible for the remaining balance. Flexible options are available, including paying in full, setting up monthly payments, or partnering with a local business sponsor. When a sponsorship option is chosen, the process becomes part of the student’s real-world learning—integrated into coursework such as business, finance, social services, community engagement, and marketing—turning a financial gap into a meaningful educational experience.
